Global Motion

Every planet has motion unique to itself. Thanks to Copernicus (Kopernik Observatory was named after him!) we know that our Solar system follows a heliocentric model, one where the sun is the center that planets revolve around in orbits.

The Earth completes one revolution every 365 1/4 days and one rotation every 24 hours in
respect to our sun.
