BARA is a group of Amateur Radio (aka Ham Radio) operators that make Kopernik Observatory their home. They meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 pm at Kopernik and those meetings are also available on Zoom.
BARA members provide support to Kopernik classes that involve electronics and radio communication. They participate in a number ham radio events throughout the year.
Ham Radio License testing is offered at Kopernik at 6 pm on the third Wednesday of every month (the same evening as the monthly club meeting).
