Every Year Year End campaign starts with Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving and generosity. It was created in 2012 in an effort to build a world in which the power of generosity is at the heart of society. Over the past 10 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity, but the actual Giving Tuesday day is always the first Tuesday after Black Friday. Kopernik Observatory & Science Center has been participating in Giving Tuesday since 2018 and we have always received a wonderful response from the community. Giving Tuesday donations can be received by PayPal, Facebook or mail. If you cannot do monetary donations, please consider volunteering your time. Volunteers are always welcome at Kopernik.
