Bacterial Biofilms

Bacterial biofilms are communities of microorganisms that are found wherever water and nutrients are available. These communities are made up of bacteria, the smallest organisms on the planet. However, the impact of these organisms is huge. Join Professors David Davies, Karin Sauer and Claudia Marques from the Department of Biological Sciences and Binghamton Biofilm Research Center, Binghamton University as they introduce you to bacterial biofilms, show where they are found and what their impact is on the environment and on plants and animals.
