Spiral Galaxy UCG 8521:
Barred Spiral Galaxy UGC 8521 is in the constellation of Virgo. This galaxy exhibits both an excess of ultraviolet light and infrared light.
Based on the published red shift, (and a Hubble Constant of 62 Km/sec per Mpc) a rough distance estimate for UGC 8521 is 172 million light years, with a diameter of about 60,160 light years.
